I laughed out loud at Jill Biden’s recent reasoning for why her husband went back on his public word and then subsequently pardoned his son, Hunter Biden.

“[W]e just could not let our son go to jail on a charge that no one … has ever gone to jail for,” the former first lady said in an interview on “CBS News Sunday Morning.”

Isn’t this the greatest example imaginable of white privilege: a president lying for months that he wouldn’t pardon his indicted son, and then, when he had nothing to lose during the lame-duck period, he conveniently changed his mind? Unlike most of his presidential orders, with this one Mr. Biden personally signed the pardon when no one was looking.

How is the Black community, which makes up roughly 14% of the voting bloc, not outraged by this blatant display of white privilege? Mr. Biden invited prominent Black leaders into the Oval Office in 2021 and took a photo op with them, kneeling in solidarity?

How does any critical-thinking person not consider this one of the biggest frauds in American history? How can any Black voter with any pride not feel betrayed? How can Black voters who are paying attention even consider voting Democrat ever again?

Most Black Americans in Hunter Biden’s situation would have gone to jail — ironically because of then-Sen. Biden’s 1994 crime bill that overly criminalized the Black community.

In a sane world, how does the insanity of “Dr. Jill”’s truthful disclosure of white privilege for her stepson not spark a nationwide riot?
