Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Florida Republican who narrowly won her election on Tuesday, said that moving forward, she will reject all PAC money and any funding that comes from foreign policy groups.

“I still am on [the committee on] foreign affairs and I’ve taken a particular interest in peace deals as well as supporting the administration’s peace deal efforts,” Ms. Luna said in a video posted to X on Thursday. “And I want my constituency to understand when I’m either talking on these things or advocating for them in Washington, that I am controlled by no one, influenced by no one.”

Ms. Luna is a staunch supporter of Israel, a hot topic in the midterm elections as voters in both parties demanded an end to U.S. military support for the Jewish state and closely scrutinized pro-Israel political spending.
