The American people have been paying close attention to the increasingly warped words and deeds of Democratic politicians with Trump derangement syndrome.

With each passing year of the Trump era, Democrats have lurched further and further toward the outer reaches of the political left for reasons that are difficult for rational people to comprehend.

From President Trump’s first historic election in 2016 to the rapidly approaching 2026 midterm elections, the Democratic Party now finds itself succumbing to country-wrecking socialism in real time. This represents a frightening proposition for voters as they prepare to head to the ballot box to make their voices heard.

If you believe the polls and punditry, Democrats appear positioned to pick up seats in Congress this year. I say, not so fast.

The large number of surveys being released is raising suspicions that perhaps many of them are not worth the paper they are printed on. Political junkies in the media have become as addicted to polls as alcoholics are to booze; there is never enough. Just like a drunk’s next drink, the next poll probably will not provide any definitive answers, either.

In truth, most Americans are just starting to think about their choices for the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate.

However, one thing is for certain: If socialism-infused Democrats take control of Congress in January, they will not use the next two years to make life better for hardworking families. The radical left’s aim is the exact opposite.

If Democrats are handed the gavel, their focus would be on finding ways to make life miserable for Americans in the lead-up to the 2028 presidential election.

A midterm victory is only a steppingstone back to power for a crazed left whose holy grail is returning to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. There, they can put their socialist stamp on our beloved constitutional republic for good.

It does not take a genius to know what Democrats are planning for their first 100 days in office if they win in November. Their goals are the same as they have been since 2016: Destroy Mr. Trump and his family, work to eviscerate the Trump legacy and reverse as much of the good he has accomplished as possible.

There would be a vote to grant mass amnesty to all illegal immigrants, a vote to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and a vote to replace our healthcare system with the socialist dream of “Medicare for All.” This last item would force all Americans into government-orchestrated medicine, complete with state-sponsored doctors.

Rest assured, there would also be a vote to undo Mr. Trump’s cost-cutting rescissions packages, a vote to rehabilitate billions upon billions of dollars in fraudulent U.S. Agency for International Development grants and a vote on trillions of dollars in new spending for bogus climate change extremism.

It does not end there. If you like your Trump tax cut, too bad. These deranged Democrats would prioritize a series of votes to get rid of the across-the-board tax relief provided by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

To top it all off, get ready for a vote to pack the U.S. Supreme Court with at least 13 justices, a vote for statehood for the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico — essentially an effort to pack the Senate with four more Democrats — and another wasteful, partisan impeachment investigation of Mr. Trump.

Nothing in this steaming pile of radical left-wing garbage has any chance of passing the U.S. Senate, regardless of which party controls the upper chamber. Still, the Democrats have learned nothing from the disastrous four years of Joseph R. Biden.

The left still hates Mr. Trump more than it loves our country, and its blinders allow it to seek power by any means necessary so that it can “fundamentally transform” America into history’s next failed socialist state.

A Democratic win this year that sets up a divided government will not fix anything. It would only ensure misery.
