The Atlanta Falcons have resurrected an older team logo in a new profile picture, and some are criticizing the team online for saying it too closely resembles Nazi imagery.

The graphic was shared by the team on Wednesday and features the retro black falcon logo that the team used previously in the ’70s and ’80s. The black falcon is overlaid on a backdrop of red, white and tan-gold, which some online say resembles the color scheme of a Nazi flag and uniforms.

One person wrote on X, “I must say, I was not expecting to wake up this morning to see that the Atlanta Falcons are preparing to invade Poland.”

Another referred to the team as “the bird reich.”

The team has not commented on the new logo.
