Britt McHenry, a former ESPN reporter and current staffer in the State Department, was caught on video throwing a drink at another person during a verbal altercation Wednesday at the Washington Wizards’ home opener.
In the video, obtained by TMZ, Ms. McHenry can be seen tossing the remains of her drink at an individual with whom she appears to be arguing. Elsewhere in the video, a Capital One Arena usher is seen asking her to leave.
The video shows Ms. McHenry and a male guest leaving the row of seats as items, including rally towels, are thrown at her. Sources tell TMZ that the people behind her were making misogynistic comments, instigating her reaction.
