A mom in Towson, Maryland, is accusing a local man living in a sewer of verbally harassing and chasing her children.

Unique Wiggins told Baltimore’s WJZ-TV that while she didn’t initially believe her kids, she investigated the situation herself after multiple complaints.

“I walk over to the little manhole sewer thing, and I hear somebody singing, and I think, ’This is unbelievable.’ So I’m like, ’Yo, yo, you,’ and he’s like, ’What?’ And I said, ’Leave my [expletive] kids alone.’ And he said, ’No, tell them to leave me alone?’ And I said, ’They can’t possibly be messing with you, and you are in the sewer,’” Ms. Wiggins told the TV station.

She also alleges the man broke into her car and trespassed on her property. Then she called the police.

The Baltimore County Police Department said that while it can do only so much since sewers and culverts belong to the public, the man was arrested and released on Oct. 13 and is subject to another peace order that expires Monday, according to WJZ.

The police also told the TV station that their attempts to offer services to the man, whom they did not publicly name, were unsuccessful.
