OPINION:
In the run-up to the midterms, nearly everyone seems hung up on the Iran war, the resulting inflation/higher gas prices and debt spending. But a more insidious, systemic threat to our constitutional republic looms: the alignment of Islamist activists and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
Both are ideologically committed to bringing down our republican form of governance and remaking it into a death camp. The Muslim attempt to conquer Europe nearly 1,300 years ago and again in the 11th century are events that we should seriously heed.
There has been no deviation since then from the original plan to establish a worldwide caliphate like the one we see in Iran under Shariah today. (By the way, the Islamists recruited leftists to expel the shah in 1979, then arrested or killed these recruits when the Ayatollah seized power.)

Thomas Jefferson had a similar challenge from the Barbary pirates, who sought to eliminate the “infidel” followers of the Jewish and Christian God. The DSA party follows the god of materialism, which has no use for the God of the Bible.
The socialist agenda always calls for the elimination of Christians and Jews as the first step in the reordering of society. More than 50 million deaths in Cuba, Russia and China attest to this reality.
Dear voters, beware of the lies and hidden agendas of both Islamists and those who call themselves democratic socialists — especially in cases where a Muslim is running on a DSA ticket.
Our republic is the antithesis of this dangerous politico-religious alliance.
