Voters are apparently suffering from short-term memory loss.

The policies of President Biden and the Democrats created our current problems, and they are not ones that can be entirely solved in two years. Maybe Democratic leaders should realize that basing political strategy on hateful rhetoric, envy and contempt is why their party has lost all its credibility.

The left has spent its energy on putting up and supporting poorly prepared candidates that seem to lack all ability in economics, finance, governance or public safety — while openly embracing antisemitic, communist ideology. These candidates to spend much of their campaign time denying past public comments and beliefs. And their denials are hard to believe.

They discuss issues but offer no substantive solutions. They have no plans for addressing fraud or high food or gas prices, for example. But if tax revenue for gas prices is controlled by state regulators, then why are candidates not holding them accountable? Why are Democratic candidates not providing legislation or challenging state regulators to prevent fraud in food stamps and Medicare?

The reason can best be described, in my view, as arrogance, along with hefty doses of denial and deception. Even after massive failures, the left expects voters to give it another opportunity.

Fortunately, voters have both historical and recent history to guide them in the current election cycle.

The Democrats’ deception was noted in Malcolm X speech in 1963. He often warned that liberals’ friendly facade and promises of token integration worked to derail true Black self-determination and independence.

The current unrest in Europe is an example of what we would have under DSA and far-leftist rule in the United States.

I do not always agree with the style of the Trump administration, but I support its courage in addressing difficult problems and getting results. These results include safer streets, the solving of foreign trade imbalances and the uncovering and elimination of fraud.

Unfortunately, Democrats’ strategy is consumed by stories, not facts, and it is helped by the legacy media, which sows division and encourages the deception of voters.
