The St. Louis Blues issued a statement condemning antisemitism on Monday after fans displayed banners that declared “Israel Kills” and “Free America from Israel” during Thursday’s win over the Vegas Golden Knights.

Arena staff and local law enforcement quickly confiscated the materials and ejected the fans from the venue.

“The vile messages of hate briefly displayed at our game last Thursday were unfortunate and unforgivable, and not remotely representative of our fans or our hometown,” Blues Chairman Tom Stillman said in a statement. “Antisemitism has no place in our community, and we will never allow it in our building.”
