The A.J. Dybantsa era begins on Wednesday night.

The No. 1 pick in this year’s NBA Draft is expected to make his Washington Wizards debut against the Cavaliers in Cleveland, according to multiple reports.

The BYU product missed the first four games of the season with an ankle sprain.

Dybantsa was initially listed as questionable ahead of the Cleveland game. Then he joined his teammates for a pregame shootaround.

If he avoids reinjury, Dybantsa could make his home debut on Friday night in an NBA Cup game against the Charlotte Hornets.

The new-look Wizards opened the season 2-2, thanks to strong starts from All-Stars Trae Young and Anthony Davis.
