OPINION:
Most of us will never forget where we were and what we were doing when we heard the unthinkable and devastating news that America had been attacked 25 years ago this month.
It remains a moment frozen in time. And we will never forget all the heroes who ran into the burning towers to save lives as those who could were fleeing. Nor will we ever forget those who perished.
Who would ever have thought that less than two decades later, an American would be so brazen as to say that we deserved 9/11? Anyone who believes such a despicable and unconscionable thing — and anyone who aligns themselves with those who do — simply does not belong in America.
Whatever comes our way, America rises to the occasion and will always prevail. God bless America, the greatest country on Earth.
