An upcoming documentary about convicted Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes has received an R rating because of language and graphic nudity, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“You Can See Everything,” set for release on Oct. 16, focuses on Holmes’ final weeks at home before she reported to federal prison in 2023 to serve a 10-year sentence for wire fraud.
The documentary includes a full-frontal nude scene, prompting the R rating, The Hollywood Reporter says.

The film’s official synopsis reads: “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss.”
The documentary is co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, who spent more than a month in her home recording her movements and conversations — at her request.
Speaking at a post-screening Q&A at the Telluride Film Festival, Mr. Fielder said he and the film crew were unable to determine Holmes’ true motives.
Holmes, 42, is scheduled to be placed in a halfway house in Texas next year, according to the Victim Notification System, an automated Department of Justice service that updates victims about offenders’ status.
She was sentenced in 2022 to more than 10 years in prison for defrauding investors with false claims about her company’s blood-testing technology. She is scheduled for release in 2030.
