OPINION:
On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I wondered how the victims of the World Trade Center attacks would have felt knowing that less than 25 years later, New York City would elect a Muslim mayor.
Images of people jumping out of burning buildings and the devastation that ensued when the towers collapsed are irreconcilable with the current state of affairs in the once-great city.
They follow a trend, however, when viewed in terms of the absurdities we saw during the last administration.
People were interested in these podcasts
Under President Biden, the government demanded that we wear masks to prevent infection from a virus that never would have been an issue had the government- mandated shots stopped infection and transmission as promised.
This was the same government that in 2024 declared Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday.
Viewed in terms of these absurdities, a Muslim socialist being elected mayor of the largest city in America falls right in line. This is a pattern that bodes ill for the future of our country. As the Bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
Thank you, President Trump, for attempting to steer the ship in the right direction, but until the people realize the blessings of freedom, as established by our Judeo-Christian heritage, the cries of our brothers and sisters who perished on 9/11 go unheard.
