A new documentary about disgraced Theranos co-founder Elizabeth Holmes is being released by directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, news outlets report.
“You Can See Everything” was recorded in 2023 in the days before Holmes reported to federal prison to serve an 11-year sentence for defrauding investors.
According to The New York Times, Holmes gave the directors extensive access in an effort to clear her name.
The roughly three-hour film includes extended conversations between Holmes and Mr. Fielder and features a conversation in which she and her partner discuss plans to launch a new version of Theranos. The biotech firm claimed it could conduct scores of diagnostic tests with a single drop of blood.
A teaser shows Holmes telling Mr. Fielder, “Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that.” She posted the trailer on X, saying she is “always being real.”
The new film follows two earlier documentaries and a Hulu miniseries about Holmes and Theranos.
“You Can See Everything” is set for a theatrical release in October.
