Happy Thanksgiving. Holiday or no holiday, the Caps will practice today (closed to public). Only three players are U.S. citizens although probably all will feast in some manner.
QUOTABLE
“I want scoring but they have to have the opportunity. We feel we have top-six wingers — we just have to get the center spot rolling. You take a look at a lot of the top teams, you can almost tell who their top two lines are. After our first line, who has been our second line?”
— Caps coach Glen Hanlon
BY THE NUMBERS
4 Consecutive games with points for Atlanta’s Glen Metropolit, a former Caps player, who had a goal and an assist while matching his NHL career high set twice with Washington.
