Stephanie Jones had 14 points and 11 rebounds, and No. 20 Maryland defeated 22nd-ranked Northwestern 70-61 Sunday in a duel between Big Ten contenders.

No. 20 Maryland women beat 17th-ranked Indiana

Shakira Austin scored 20 of her 22 points in the second half, Taylor Mikesell had 16 points and eight assists and No. 20 Maryland beat 17th-ranked Indiana 76-62 on Monday night.

Baylor jumps to No. 2 in AP Top 25 while Gonzaga stays No. 1

The Bears leapfrogged the Jayhawks and Duke into the second spot in The Associated Press men's college basketball poll on Monday. They finished with 1,567 points in voting by 65 media members who regularly cover the game, just seven back of top-ranked Gonzaga - even though Baylor had 31 first-place votes and the Bulldogs had 30.

Iowa women hold off No. 17 Maryland
