Lorusso gives Terrapins the win over UConn in 11 innings

Nick Lorusso smashed a bases-loaded single off the wall in the bottom of the 11th inning to send overall No. 15 seed Maryland to a 7-6 win over Connecticut on Sunday night to force a deciding game for the College Park Regional.

Perfect game shows Terrapins found right fit in Ramsey as No. 1 starter

No one saw a complete game coming for Maryland's Ryan Ramsey, let alone a perfect game. The junior left-hander had worked almost exclusively out of the bullpen his first two seasons, and Friday marked his first outing since being promoted from No. 2 starter to No. 1.
