PARAGOULD, Ark. (AP) - An Arkansas man has pleaded guilty to murder in the shooting death of his estranged wife.

Prosecutors say 59-year-old Charles Quintana of Paragould pleaded guilty Thursday to first-degree murder in the Dec. 23, 2015, shooting death of Stacy Quintana at Lorado Grocery where she worked.

Charles Quintana also pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced to 50 years in prison. Additional charges of kidnapping, battery and aggravated assault charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

Four co-defendants previously pleaded guilty to charges in the case, including Stacy Keplinger, who prosecutors say fired the fatal shot and cut a delivery driver who was at the store at the time.

Investigators have said Charles Quintana planned the shooting because he was upset that his wife had left him.
