CLEVELAND (AP) - Officials say a body found near a Cleveland zoo over the weekend belonged to a retired county probation officer and records show he also owned a lie detector business.
Cleveland.com reports a woman hunting for wild mushrooms under a bridge near the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Saturday saw a hand sticking out of a blue tarp.
The zoo says the body belongs to 65-year-old James Cashin of North Olmsted and that his death isn’t connected to the zoo.
Police are investigating Cashin’s death as a homicide and say two men are in custody. They weren’t immediately identified.
A court spokesman tells Cleveland.com Cashin spent three decades as a polygraph examiner. State records show he also owned Associated Lie Detection Services.
Officials say Cashin’s death doesn’t appear connected to his employment.
