Actress Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, said she once had an exorcism performed on her as a child after she was told she was “possessed,” news outlets report.
Ms. Gerber, 24, made the revelation during an appearance on “The Mitch Churi Chat Show” podcast alongside actor Graham Campbell, her co-star in FX’s thriller series “The Shards,” produced by Ryan Murphy.
Ms. Gerber said the ritual involved a didgeridoo, an Indigenous Australian wind instrument, being played over her body.
She recalled that Ms. Crawford later gave her holy water before she went to the set of FX’s “American Horror Story: Double Feature” in 2021, adding that she has felt “haunted” her whole life and believes she attracts “beings from another dimension in a very casual and chill way.”
She stars as Susan Reynolds in “The Shards,” an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ 2023 novel.
The series also features Homer Gere, son of Richard Gere, who was previously married to Ms. Crawford.
