MADILL, Okla. (AP) - A man accused of shooting his wife and two stepchildren to death in southern Oklahoma has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder.
Marshall County court records indicate 56-year-old Kevin Moseley of Kingston entered the pleas on Tuesday during his first court appearance for the shooting deaths of his wife, Monica Moseley, and two step children, 16-year-old Johnathan Horath and 12-year-old Stephanie Horath.
Their bodies were discovered Aug. 22 in their mobile home near Madill, about 105 miles (170 kilometers) southeast of Oklahoma City. Authorities say Moseley was arrested the same day in Abilene, Texas, more than 200 miles (320 kilometers) from where the shootings occurred.
During the court hearing, Moseley blurted out: “I didn’t kill my wife.” Records don’t indicate that Moseley is represented by an attorney.
