CAMDEN, Ala. (AP) - Prison officials say they’ve captured an inmate who fled a west Alabama work release center while serving time for burglary.

The Department of Corrections says 25-year-old Michael Oneal Bynum surrendered before dawn Monday. Bynum was located about four hours after he escaped from the Camden Work Release Center.

Bynum was serving 20 years for second-degree burglary in Morgan County. He was convicted in 2011



The Camden center is located in Wilcox County.
