Maryland loses poll ground

← return to D1SCOURSE

Maryland had 16 points in last week’s AP poll.

The Terrapins have 12 points this week.

That’s sort of interesting after easily handling two overmatched teams (American and Bryant) between polls.

As explained in the Top 45 countdown post this morning, I still see the Terps as a mid-30s team, not a top-25 team. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

Only three voters had Maryland ranked last week. Should be interesting to see what the good folks at Pollstalker spit out later on in the day to ID who actually voted for the Terps.
