No game time yet for Maryland-N.C. State

The six-day option in the ACC’s television contract makes sense, in that it allows networks to put good games in high-profile spots late in the season.

So now that it’s established that the option is a good thing, it’s time to wonder just why Maryland-N.C. State – two teams with losing records – got that designation today.

Now, that game isn’t alone. Of the ACC’s five games on Nov. 7, only one has a fixed game time. The other three – all of which have some obvious impact on the division title races – are also in game-time limbo.

Anyway, the point is, we won’t know Maryland’s kickoff time at State until the weekend.
