Beltran averaged 49.2 yards per punt in Saturday’s 12-0 loss to San Jose State. He had three consecutive 50-yard punts in the first half.

Beltran is averaging 47.2 yards on 13 attempts this season for the Midshipmen (1-3) and would rank fourth nationally if he had enough attempts to qualify for the NCAA’s weekly rankings. The NCAA requires 3.6 attempts per game to qualify, leaving Beltran one shy of being eligible this week.
