Bush family to return to White House for unveiling of portraits

Two generations of Bush presidents and their wives will visit the White House on Thursday.

President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will host former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush for the unveiling of their portraits, the White House announced Wednesday.

Mr. Bush’s parents, former President George H.W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush, also will attend.

The White House did not disclose the time of the event in its announcement.
