McCain, Obama on ESPN at halftime

Here’s more evidence how huge the NFL is in American society.

On the eve of Tuesday’s presidential election, Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama have agreed to one-on-one interviews with ESPN’s Chris Berman via satellite from the campaign trail during halftime of the Monday Night Football broadcast. This week, of course, the game features the Washington Redskins playing host to the Pittsburgh Steelers at FedEx Field.
