Haynesworth still out

All-Pro defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth isn’t on the field for a second straight day because of a stomach illness.

Star running back Clinton Portis remained sidelined with bruised ribs, but backup Marcus Mason returned from the same injury.

Starting guard Randy Thomas wasn’t working either, probably a veteran’s day off to rest his surgically repaired knee.

Cornerback Carlos Rogers remained out with a lingering calf injury that could well keep him out of a second straight preseason game Thursday at Jacksonville.

Safety Kareem Moore was also sidelined with the hamstring he pulled in last Friday’s game against New England.

Offensive lineman Jeremy Bridges was excused for personal reasons.
