Cowboys special teams coach hospitalized

Dallas special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis, who was paralyzed in August, was rushed from FedEx Field to a local hospital for an emergency appendectomy.

DeCamillis was injured when the Cowboys’ practice bubble came crashing down in a terrible thunderstorm during a May minicamp.

Quality control coach Wes Phillips, son of coach Wade Phillips, will fill in for DeCamillis.
