Daniels unhappy with lack of time

Phillip Daniels rehabbed hard to come back at age 36 from major knee surgery in July 2008, but the defensive end wasn’t happy with how little he played against the Eagles.

“There are some things I just don’t like,” when asked if he had regrets about returning. I came back to play, man.”

Asked how much he played, Daniels said, “Not much. Maybe 12-15 plays, if that.”

Asked when that had last happened, he said,  “Maybe my rookie year when I was a backup. But I’m healthy, that’s all I can ask for.”
