Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic yesterday announced a new extension to its marketing and media partnership with the Redskins that gives the network the exclusive rights to high-definition broadcasts of the team’s pre-season games. 

The multi-year agreement also calls for the continuation of Redskins programming including Redskins Post-Game Live and Redskins Kickoff, plus a the daily Redskins Nation show. A new wrinkle in the deal includes a one-on-one interview with Redskins head coach Jim Zorn airing at 5:45 p.m. the day after a game. 


Comcast SportsNet will air three Redskins pre-season games in high-definition this year, including this Thursday’s tilt against the Ravens. CBS will be airing the August 28 game against the Patriots.
