Bethesda family gives thanks by giving to Sandy victims

The Audas family of Bethesda, Md. has collected clothing and will spend their Thanksgiving in N.J. volunteering to help Sandy victims.

Andrew Audas, left, 9, and his sister Abbi, 12, go through bags of donated clothing in the basement of their Bethesda, Md. home on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. The two children were struck by the devastating effect of Hurricane Sandy and told their parents they wanted to do something to help. So they started "Project Keep Them Cozy" to collect coats, hats, gloves and scarves for those who lost everything in the storm. The family will drive all of the donated items up to New Jersey, where they plan to spend their Thanksgiving volunteering to help Sandy victims. (Barbara L. Salisbury/The Washington Times)
