OK, mark the date, for it will surely spark an outcry in the gun-control community.

A new pro-life super PAC has launched a six-figure ad buy in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia targeting President Obama on abortion, while outside groups on the left are stepping up their own attacks on Republican U.S. Senate candidate George Allen on the same issue but at the opposite end of the spectrum.

For better or worse, here comes "Game Change", the big-budget HBO film dramatizing the 2008 presidential election. Because of its scheduling close to the Super Tuesday primaries, another filmmaker smells a partisan rat.

Yes, there's the budget, the debt, health care reform and terrorism to worry about. Now comes deadly antibiotic-resistant super bacteria.

Left-wing attempts to restrict free speech aren't new. Their handlers must have been delighted.
Gearing up for another midterm battle, women's groups on opposite sides of the abortion debate have a new point of contention - former Alaska Republican Gov. Sarah Palin and her crop of "mama grizzly" endorsements.

A deft strategy has emerged from the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, which has launched "Vota Tus Valores" — vote your values — a $1 million voter-outreach campaign to educate Hispanic voters about the pro-life/traditional marriage/free-enterprise platform of U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina in California.
But Marilyn Musgrave, a former Republican congresswoman from Colorado now with the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, applauded Mr. Romney's campaign pledge to defund Planned Parenthood, but said he must do more to reach out to abortion opponents before the general election.
But the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, which supports female political candidates who oppose abortion, said the idea of framing the debate around Mrs. Palin is dangerous politics.
