Joel Hanrahan has had two save opportunities so far this year, both coming in the last two days. He’s yet to record his first save.
About 17 hours after blowing a ninth-inning lead to the Marlins by serving up a game-tying homer, Hanrahan has done it again. He gave up three runs in the ninth today, allowing a one-out RBI single to Ross Gload and later a two-out, two-run homer to Jeremy Hermida that left the crowd of 19,864 booing.
