The Nationals are really rolling here, and might be on track to just their seventh win of more than three runs. They scored two more off Daniel Bard after John Smoltz left the game, and now lead 7-1.
Jordan Zimmermann has continued to be strong, striking out five through six innings. And the Nationals continue to do an impressive job of driving in runners when they get the chance—they had two hits and a walk to set up their sixth-inning rally.
