What else can go wrong for the Nationals?

The bullpen (with help from a shoddy defense that has committed four errors tonight, three by Ryan Zimmerman) blew a 5-1, sixth-inning lead. The Marlins now lead 7-5 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.

And then it started pouring and the umps pulled everyone off the field. We’re now in a delay. Wonderful.

In case you’re wondering — and I was, too, but I’ve looked this up and confirmed it — if the game is not resumed, it will be a Marlins win. Because they took the lead in the bottom half of this inning, it would be treated just like a walk-off in theĀ bottom of the ninth.
