This may have a different ending than the typical blown Nats lead, but the sixth inning didn’t do much to inspire confidence.

John Lannan took a 4-1 lead into the inning before hitting two batters, which came back to burn him when Pedro Feliz singled in Chase Utley. Raul Ibanez, the other batter Lannan hit, scored on Carlos Ruiz’s single off Garrett Mock. So now the lead is 4-3 heading into the seventh.

As for Ryan Zimmerman? He doubled in the fourth inning, giving him two hits tonight. If this guy keeps going for another five weeks at anything close to this clip, it’s going to be very tough to leave him off the All-Star team.

Jesus Colome is on now. We’ll see if he can hold the lead.
