We’re three innings into the Battle of the Beltways (can you feel the excitement all the way to Maryland’s Eastern shore?), and the Orioles are up 2-0.

Jordan Zimmermann got through the first inning without any problems, but has given up three hits since then, including a solo homer from Nolan Reimold in the second inning. Zimmermann hasn’t been as sharp with his location in his last few starts as he was early this year, and he’s paid for it a few times, including tonight. But he’s atruck out three through three innings (and just got another K in the fourth).

Not much on offense yet from the Nationals—they put two runners on in the second, but Josh Bard grounded into a double play.
