There’s enough in terms of weekly injury reports at Maryland to know who won’t be playing in the Dec. 30 Humanitarian Bowl.
Kevin Barnes? Nope. Richard Taylor? Sorry. A whole host of others we haven’t seen play in months?
Yep, it’s the same list. And while it will be interesting to see how Darrius Heyward-Bey (calf), Dion Armstrong (ankle) and Travis Ivey (ankle) fare in practice early next week, it’s safe to call them questionable for now and move along.
And as for Nevada, which receives regular coverage from the Reno Gazette-Journal (with blog link here)? Here’s an unofficial list, with some of these players having missed most if not all of the season already:
Out: RB Luke Lippincott (knee), OG Greg Hall (knee), CB Mike Evans (knee), TE Kevin Bohr (knee), LB Joshua Mauga (pectoral muscle), P Brad Langley (foot).
Probable: OG John Bender (shoulder), LB Mike Bethea (foot), DE Ryan Coulson (foot).
Speaking of the Reno Gazette-Journal, look for the return of the Out-of-Town Q-and-A sometime in the next week or so with Nevada beat writer Dan Hinxman, who has graciously agreed to lend his insight into the Wolf Pack program for five questions heading into their meeting with Maryland on Boise’s famous blue sod.
