Halftime here at the Patriot Center, where George Mason‘s John Vaughan surpassed the 1,000-point plateau for his career in the first half.

But the best part, as usual, is just watching Mason operate as it usually does. It took just 42 minutes to play the first half, and Mason committed just five fouls and fiveturnovers.


Not that it was classic Mason. It’s the the Patriots’ first game in nearly two weeks, and it was far from a flawless 20 minutes.

But Mason is still up, and chances are the offense will be a bit sharper in the second half with possessions unfolding in front of the Patriots’ bench rather than at the other end of the floor.
