The EagleBank Bowl is a little more than two hours old, and three quarters are already over with.

That’s a really, really fast game, even with a longer halftime than is usual.

Wake’s Josh Adams has been a touchdown vulture for starting tailback Kevin Harris, twice scoring for the Demon Deacons to give them the narrow lead.

Meanwhile, Navy’s offense looks shaky of late. This isn’t Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada’s finest day, and the Demon Deacons (while about to punt) have done a good job controlling the clock since halftime.

The teams combined for one pass attempt in the third quarter, which certainly moved things along in terms of time. As for actual movement of the ball, that is something both teams could do better in the final 15 minutes.
