Not everything was forgettable for Maryland tonight.

After all, Greivis Vasquez hit the 1,000-point plateau for his career and ranks 46th on Maryland’s all-time list. He’s up to 1,011 points (assuming my math is right), with Len Elmore (1,017) up next.


Vasquez, by the way, is only the fifth Terp to compile 1,000 points, 400 assists and 100 3-pointers.

The others: Steve Blake, Duane Simpkins, Johnny Rhodes and Walt Williams.
