The early results of the day are starting to trickle in.

Virginia Tech has won the ACC‘s Coastal Division in thoroughly ugly fashion. Bud Foster, who has probably run all the way to Radford right now, might not agree.

Virginia, meanwhile, is out of the bowl mix and finishes 5-7.

One team that isn’t through is Clemson, which has maintained the 17-point lead it built at halftime. The Tigers will improve to 7-5, and they’ll head somewhere for the holidays.

This means the D.C.-based EagleBank Bowl will get someone. That someone could be N.C. State, which is up 31-21 on Miami with four minutes to play.
