CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. —- It’s a nice press box setting at Boston College, especially for those who arrive, oh, three hours before kickoff.

Notably, all four of the ACC’s noon games are on the televisions near the top row, which means it’s possible to simultaneously watch just about everything.

And for the folks looking forward to the Dec. 20 EagleBank Bowl, that’s a good thing.

Three ACC teams can clinch bowl eligibility today, and in the process ensure the D.C.-based game gets an ACC team. Clemson doing its part, leading South Carolina 10-0.

Virginia is hanging around in Blacksburg and is still tied 7-7 with Virginia Tech.

And N.C. State just yielded another touchdown and is down 14-7 at home to Miami.

Only one of them needs to win to keep the EagleBank Bowl from searching the at-large bin. But if multiple teams can pull off victories, then there will be options.

More to come from lovely New England.
