It was another good week for the EagleBank Bowl, the first-year game to be played at RFK Stadium on Dec. 20.

While Navy (4-2) had an off week, the chances of getting a ninth team from the ACC improved slightly thanks to a couple nonconference victories.

With Miami fending off Central Florida and Virginia rolling past East Carolina, the ACC now has 11 teams at .500 or better. All 11 of those teams have at least three victories.

Now, it’s unlikely the conference will produce 11 bowl-eligible teams. But the possibility of nine isn’t so far-fetched at this juncture.

And so here’s how things look at the midpoint of the regular season:

ACC teams with 3+ wins: 11
ACC teams at .500 or better: 11
Current projected team to the EagleBank Bowl: Boston College, Maryland or Virginia
