There was no access at Maryland yesterday, but that’s all right. Just means the Maryland stories will be on hold for another 18 hours or so.

On the bright side, there was access at Wake Forest, and some interesting news came out of Winston-Salem.

Dan Collins of the Winston-Salem Journal writes that kicker Sam Swank, who sat out Thursday’s 12-7 victory over Clemson in the Tommy Bowden Dagger Game, is questionable for the Demon Deacons’ trip to Maryland on Saturday.

Normally, a kicker’s injury isn’t worthy of huge headlines. But Swank is one of the nation’s best, and his strained right quadriceps bears monitoring for the rest of the week.
