Just got off Ralph Friedgen‘s Sunday teleconference.
Here’s the injury news up front; I’ll double back with some other stuff later.
* Cornerback Kevin Barnes will undergo an MRI exam tomorrow on his subluxed shoulder. The senior was apparently sore today —- hardly a surprise with a partially dislocated joint —- and more will be known in another 24 hours.
* Linebacker Adrian Moten (wrist) is now looking like a 50-50 proposition for the Nov. 6 game at Virginia Tech. The sophomore has missed the last two game since undergoing surgery to repair some ligament damage.
“They took his screw out last Wednesday,” Friedgen said. “He still has another one in there. They thought all the bones were set and healing right. They won’t know until they take the last pin out. Once that happens, yhey think he’s on schedule —- a 50-50 chance for Virginia Tech.”
* Doesn’t sound like anything else serious went down yesterday in terms of injuries.
More to come.
