Today is an important day for Maryland cornerback Kevin Barnes.
It is surgery day for the senior, who faces a five-to-six month rehab process after his fractured shoulder blade and damaged rotator cuff and labrum are repaired.
That timeframe would put him back at full health somewhere between roughly the beginning of April and the beginning of May.
The NFL Draft, of course, is in late April.
It’s safe to say he’ll be one of the more interesting soon-to-be-ex-Terps to keep tabs on in the months leading into the draft.
