Just got a release about all the former players from ACC schools who made opening-day NBA rosters.

Officially, there’s 58 of them scattered over 29 teams (the lone exception being Milwaukee).


If you want to be intellectually honest and describe “former ACC players,” there 56 of them over 28 teams. That would leave out a couple Big East-era players from The U —- John Salmons and James Jones, the latter whom is the list’s only representative on the Miami Heat’s roster.

Here’s the rundown by school, which also includes the number of guys who played for a school’s current coach (*-never played in ACC):
