Came across this last night as I sorted through Heisman possibilities.

After clicking on national passing yards per attempt leaders, I came across none other than Maryland wideout Danny Oquendo, who tossed a 43-yard scoring strike to Isaiah Williams against Eastern Michigan. And that’s enough to lead the country.


Not only that, he holds the nation’s top passer efficiency rating at 791.2.

Obviously, Oquendo doesn’t qualify for real national ranking. But since you don’t see passer ratings approaching 800 every day, it seemed like a worthwhile thing to share.
